About to leave the country for the USA: TEMPORARILY!!

Hi everyone. It’s been a hectic two weeks. I’ve been doing a book tour for “Whoever you are” in four Australian States as well as presenting a teacher seminar for Scholastic in Melbourne. It’s been exhausting and exciting: I’ve been on Good Morning Australia, the Today Show, Margaret Throsby on ABC FM, ABC radio everywhere and commercial stations as well, etc. etc., and appeared in articles in the Australian, the Brisbane Courier Mail, the Sydney Morning Herald, the Qantas Magazine in April (”The Australian Way”), the Bulletin, The Adelaide Advertiser. . . you name it. It’s been like a mad kind of therapy, talking non-stop about myself for two weeks. Blaggh!!! No, no, I loved it!

On Good Friday at 4pm on ABC TV I am one of two readers in a performance of music and words about Easter (pre-recorded last night in St Peter’s Cathedral in Adelaide). For once it was nothing to do with me or my books.

Today (April 1st, 1998) I leave for the USA via Sydney and won’t be back for three weeks so an update will be at least four weeks away, if not longer. In the meantime, all the very best in your own lives! Happy Easter! Love, Mem Foxxxxx
